Trampolining Title Winners!
The girls in the St Mary's College under 13 trampoline team have got a spring in their step after landing the Sefton title for their age group.
The College beat off the challenge of rivals from throughout the borough to win the event which was held at nearby Chesterfield High School.
The team competition was assessed by adding up the final positions of the individual trampolinists.
With all four St Mary's girls finishing in the top six places - including Laura McLaughlin who took top spot - it was an excellent all-round team performance.
The Sefton trophy is the second piece of silverware that Laura has collected within just a few weeks. Previously she finished in joint top place in the under 13 girls section at the British Schools Championship in Birmingham.
St Mary's Head of Girls PE, Sally Foster, commented: "I would like to congratulate the team on winning this borough-wide competition. Trampolining is a relatively new sport for the college, so it's very pleasing to see the girls doing so well."
