St Mary’s College Parents’ Association Ladies Night raises more than £1,500

St Mary's College Parents' Association held a very successful ladies night this week.
More than 90 women attended the event at West Lancs Golf Club, enjoying a three-course meal followed by a disco.
The only male guest at the dinner was St Mary's Head of Drama, Lawrence Doherty, who acted as MC for the event.
Thanks to ticket sales, an auction and a raffle the ladies night is expected to have raised well over £1,500 for college funds.
The new Chair of the Parents' Association, Celia Thomas, who organised the event commented: "It was a pleasure to welcome old and new members of the associatio to this event which turned out to be a really great night.
"There was good food, a friendly atmosphere and it ended with guests partying away on the dance floor until 1am.
"Since the event I've received lots of positive feedback from members indicating that they really enjoyed themselves, which is a very satisfying way for us to raise a healthy sum for the college."
