Patron's Day Mass at St. Mary's College
St. Mary's College recently paid tribute to its patron saint at a special church service in the town.
The College held its annual Patron's Day Mass at St Peter and Paul's Church on Liverpool Road to mark the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

This holy day of obligation celebrates the unique state of grace of Mary, mother of Jesus, who was born free of original sin.
Jean Marsh, Principal of St Mary¹s, commented: 'Patron¹s Day is a very important date in our calendar, when the whole school comes together for this mass'.
'Following hot on the heels of our prize day ceremony at the Metropolitan Cathedral, this meant that there were two events within a few days at which we were able to celebrate many of the features which make being part of the St Mary¹s community so special.'
