Three of our most talented Lower Sixth students have won coveted Nuffield Science bursaries, having competed with hundreds of other applicants from all over the North-West. They follow a long line of St. Mary's scientists who have achieved such success in recent years. This time Elizabeth Chadderton, Alice Mackay and Katherine Orme will work alongside professional scientists carrying out top class research during the Summer holidays. Head of Science, Bob Johnston, commented "The three girls deserve to win these awards and I'm sure they will have a great time - I'm very jealous!"
