Dance Show is Strictly Sensational!
Pupils at St Mary's College proved to be 'strictly sensational' when they presented their third annual dance show.
More than 50 girls from the school's popular Dance Club took part in the two performances of Just Dance, a high-energy celebration of the art in all its forms.
The show included everything from ballet to rock and roll and ballroom dancing to break-dancing.
One piece that proved particularly popular with the sell-out crowd of family and friends involved pupils dancing on a blacked-out stage, with their movements only visible by the glow-in-the dark bracelets they were wearing.
Just Dance was choreographed by St Mary's Head of Girls PE, Sally Foster, and the pupils themselves.
Sally commented: "Once again this year the audiences were extremely impressed with what they saw in terms of both the quality and variety of the performances. Overall the show was a great success and we are already thinking about ways of making it even better in 2010."
