Once again St Mary's College hosted the Carnegie Book awards lunch. Two local schools, Merchant Taylors and Formby High School attended. After tucking into an array of delicious sandwiches, cakes and biscuits, the students where invited to vote for their favourite book.  The winner of the 2009 Carnegie Children book was Bog child by Siobhan Dowd. Ruth Cawdron is seen representing St Mary's College.
