6th Formers Bake Muffins in aid of 'Children in Need'
Students at St Mary's College in Crosby donned their chefs' hats to raise funds for Children in Need this week.
Sixth formers headed for the school kitchen to bake a range of delicious muffins which were then sold to teachers and pupils at a coffee morning in the school library, along with cakes that staff had made at home.
As a result of their efforts, almost £100 was raised for the popular Pudsey appeal which is 30 years old this year.
St Mary's Principal, Mike Kennedy, commented: "I am very pleased that our sixth formers decided to raise funds for this very good cause. The muffin bake was a great idea and the cakes were delicious."
Ready, steady cook !
