Think Pink Charity Collection
Sweet-toothed students at St Mary's College in Crosby have helped the school to raise around £500 for a leading breast cancer charity.
As part of a Lent fundraising drive dubbed Think Pink pupils were asked to donate a range of chocolate items.
These were then made up into hampers which were used as prizes in a raffle for pupils, staff, families and friends.
Thanks to the generosity of all three departments at St Mary's - the senior school, The Mount prep school and the Bright Sparks Nursery - an impressive sum was raised for Breast Cancer Care.
This London-based charity provides information, advice and support to breast cancer sufferers and campaigns for improved standards of care.
St Mary's College Principal, Mike Kennedy, commented: "This was a really good fundraising idea which understandably attracted a lot of interest throughout the school.
"I would like to thank everyone who took part in Think Pink either by donating the chocolate prizes or buying the raffle tickets - they have all helped to support a really good cause."
