Senior Football to face toughest season ever
The 1st and 2nd XI will face their toughest season ever when the football term starts up after christmas. Having already beaten Tonbridge School, Kent before losing to Manchester GS 4-0 in the ISFA Cup this term as well as playing Deyes Hiigh and Maghull locally they will face some of the biggest Public Schools in the North West over the next few months.
This wednesday they face Stonyhurst College and after christmas, will play the following fixtures at 1st and 2nd XI level.
Ampleforth College
Shrewsbury School
Oswestry School
Sedbergh School
Birkenhead School (one game only)
Merchant Taylor's School (one game only)
The younger age groups will play weekly fixtures against local opposition after february half-term
The rugby season isn't over either as the school has fixtures up to February half-term against Arnold School, KES Lytham, QEGS Blackburn, Ormskirk School, Bury GS and St. Edward's and finally go on tour to Dublin on February 5th. After half-term they will play mainly Sevens.
