All fixtures both home and away have been cancelled at the weekend. The home games were cancelled at lunchtime today. The PE staff invited a Liverpool Society Referee to the pitch who viewed that it would be too wet to scrummage. This therefore increases the likelihood of scrums collapsing which is where the majority of serious neck injuries occur in rugby. He added that he felt it was unsafe to play.
