On top of the spectacular Proms in the Park Firework Concert, another first took place in July. At the end of term, the first ever Lower School Music Tour took place. 67 students from all three Junior Ensembles including the Training Orchestra, Band and Choir undertook a 5 day tour to Paris.  Apart from taking in the sights on a host of excursions, each ensemble performed  two concerts, the most impressive being in St. Sulpice, a magnificent (and France’s largest) church. The tour culminated in a full day at Disney Land and a superb time was had by all. I would like to thank all those involved both staff and pupil’s for making it such a success. Mr Byers.
