In another busy week of St. Mary's sport, the following fixtures have taken place.

 

Rugby

 

Under 12s lost to St. Anselm's 32-12

 

Under 13s beat a St. Anselm's XV 34-29 with a hat-trick from Stephen Lane

 

Under 14s beat De la Salle, Jersey 42-15 with a debut brace of tries from outstanding prospect Daniel Groves.

 

Under 15s drew 7-7 with Ormskirk Club and then beat Bury GS 46-24 including a 40 yard try from Patrick Power

 

Sefton Schools Cross-Country

 

Year 7 race consisting of 122 boys

 

Luke Gordon 5th, Matthew Tobin 13th, Will Allen 36th, Sam Mulholland 41st, Zach Aketoya 49th, Harry Howat 62nd, Adam Killen 66th, George Seddon-Roberts 68th, Max Davies 70th

 

Year 8/9 race consisting of 123 boys

 

George Newell 19th, Mak Cartwright 22nd, Scott Snaylam 30th, Luke Killen 34th, Macauley Lawrenson 44th, Conor Dever, 52nd, Tom Purcell, 55th, Andrew Frazer 60th, Luke Wallwork 106th.

 

Year 10/11 race consisiting of 70 boys. The senior Cross Country team won the team event here.

 

Peter Gaskell 7th, Michael Bennett 8th, Patrick Power 9th, Ben Mossman 10th, Mark Mclaughlin 22nd, Joe Reade 30th, Jack Dwyer 42nd, Tom Owens 64th, Reece Hoagrth 65th.

 

Badminton all away at Holy Family

 

Under 14s B team consisting of Harry Howat, Joe Campbell, Macauley Lawrenson and Tom Nugent won 6-1. 

 

Under 16s B team consisting of Kieran Orme, Charles Ratcliffe, Mark Mclaughlin, Oscar Fearns won 6-1.

 

Under 19s team consisiting of sgjeph Dodd, Daniel Frost, Chad Barnes and Alex Norman Jones won 6-1.
