Boys PE and Games

BOYS’ PE & GAMES 

At present the college has three members of boy’s PE and Games staff:  Mr D Williams  (Head of Department) Mr J ArmstrongMr J V Deventer PE & Games Curriculum  All pupils at Years 7-9 have a double PE lesson in which they are taught as a form.  In these lessons, the pupils will study a variety of activities such as Rugby, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Health Related Fitness, Table-Tennis and Athletics. Pupils in Years 7-11 have a triple games lesson (except Year 10 who have double) in which they are taught as a whole year group split into groups. In these games sessions, pupils are taught Rugby, Football, Cricket and Athletics.  For details of the current Boys' PE Curriculum, please click: Curriculum  Extra-Curricular Activities Details of forthcoming practices and fixtures are posted on the school website and the Boys’ PE Noticeboard (located by the Boy’s toilet) and students are encouraged to check these details daily.  Sporting extra-curricular activities flourish at St. Mary's with a great deal of time being spent by both staff and pupils to enhance our reputation both locally and nationally.
The opportunities available to boy’s are: Rugby, Football, Cricket, Table-Tennis, Badminton, Golf, Cross-Country and Athletics.

Badminton/Volleyball: Polo Shirt, Blue shorts White Socks, White Trainers.
Fitness: Polo Shirt, Blue Shorts, White Socks, WhiteTrainers. 

Summer Kit Cricket Whites (Compulsory if selected for team)Athletics: Polo Shirt, Blue Shorts, White Socks, White Trainers.
Tennis: Polo Shirt, Skirt, Briefs, Shorts, White Socks, White Trainers.
The School sweatshirt is highly recommended for the early winter months
