Congratulations to the Year 7 A and B teams who reached the finals of the Sefton Start of Season Tournament on Monday 4th October. Both teams finished runners up in their competition. What a fantastic start to the netball season!

 County Netball Success

Congratulations to the Year 11 and Senior Netball teams who have made it through the preliminary rounds of the County Netball Championships. Both teams will represent Liverpool in the Merseyside Finals to be held on Wednesday 10th March at Wirral Grammar School.

The Year 11 Netball team: Kim Davies, Rachel Miller, Maria Stanfield, Katie Baker, Sarah Mackay, Lucy Moroney, Ellen Thomas, Eleanor James. The team finished in first place at the recent preliminary rounds of the County tournament.

The Senior Netball team: Lucy Houghton, Clare Cooke, Beth Cain-Wildman, Lynsey McGrady, Alice Mackay, Katherine Orme, Kate Patterson. The team finished in third place in the recent preliminary rounds of the County tournament.

LAURA IS OFF TO A WINNING START!

Laura McLaughlin (Year 9) is the North West Schools' Trampolining Champion in the Under 15 Novice category. Laura completed her two winning routines at the North West Schools' Trampolining competition on Saturday 28th November in Manchester. Laura finished in joint first place ahead of 56 other competitors with a score of 49. 40 and will now travel to Hull on the 17th January for the finals of the Northern Zone. Laura was the Under 13 National Champion 2009 and is hoping to be just as successful in the Under 15 competition.
