On Thursday the 7^th July, the 3^rd annual Celebration of Sport awards evening took place in the O’Halloran Hall.

The event provided us with the opportunity to honour the sporting successes of the college students. Awards were presented for player of the year and most improved player and some of the students spoke to the audience about their experiences of school sport this year. The event was completed with the presentation of the Sports Woman of the Year for 2011. The recipients of these awards were Melanie Gillam (Year 7), Jessica Bartolo (Year 8), Jenny McGuire (Year 9 ), Laura McLaughlin (Year 10), Lucinda Burdett (Year 11) and Lucy Houghton (Year 13). The evening was the perfect way to round off an outstanding year of sport from the girls.
