The athletics team have had an action packed season starting with a friendly fixture against St Edward’s College on the 18^th May, followed by the Liverpool Catholic School’s competition on the 8^th June. The college finished in 4^th place out of 12 Liverpool schools. The Christian Brother’s competition was held at Edge Hill university ground on the 24^th June. The combined Year 7 and 8 team and year 9 and 10 team competed well and finished in 3^rd and 2^nd respectively. The final competition was the Sefton Schools on Tuesday 28^th June at Wavertree athletics track. The college finished in 2^nd place which was mostly due to an outstanding performance by the Year 9 team who were outright winners of no less than seven events.
