German Exchange 2009

I am pleased to be able to tell you that there will be another German exchange. The previous partner school has no longer been able to sustain the exchange programme but I have managed to find a different school. The current year 10 students have now the opportunity to take part in this exchange programme with the ‘Realschule Niederviehbach' in Bavaria in Southern Germany.

The german group has booked the flight. They are going to arrive in Mancheater on Thursday 14th May and leave from Manchester on Thursday 21st May. The change of arrival and departure days is due to a more reasonable flight cost on the Thursday. I hope this does not cause any inconvenience.

Arrival in Manchester airport at 10.35am

- pick up by school minibus and taken to school

- lunch in school, tour of school and afternoon lessons

- please pick upom school at 3.45pm

Friday

15th May

Morning in school (lessons, lunch 12.00)

p.m. - trip to Liverpool - can pupils make their own way back?

Trip to Chester (for German students only)

Tuesday

Full day in school - Bowling after school

Full day excursion to Alton Towers

(from 9.00am to about 6pm - pick up from school)

Bring luggage to school (possibly) German group to Liverpool, takrn by school minibus to airport and departure from Manchester at 17.15 hrs.
