GCSE Religious Studies

This OCR GCSE specification in Religious Studies provides an opportunity for candidates to build upon the foundation laid by the Lower School syllabus and to allow candidates to continue their study of Religious Education from the earlier Key Stages.

It provides the opportunity for candidates to follow a coherent course, balanced in terms of breadth and depth, and supports the study of Christianity.

This specification offers all candidates equal opportunities to demonstrate their  attainment regardless of gender, religion and ethnic and social background; it is accessible to candidates of any religious persuasion or none.
