On Sunday 11th October 2009 thirteen Army Cadets from St Mary's College CCF attended Our Lady's and Saint Nicholas Church, Liverpool for a service held in rememberance of those who have lost their lives in conflict.

The cadets provided escorts for the two veteran standard bearers, Steven Mallinson carried the CCF Standard, Jack Howard-Murphy did the collection and Gareth Abbott said the words " WHEN YOU GO HOME TELL THEM OF US AND SAY  FOR YOUR TOMORROW WE GAVE OUR TODAY"
