The unit would like to extend its congratulations to both Captain Overend and 2nd Lieutenant Abbott, both whom have successfully completed their Short Range Course.

We would also like to extend our welcome to Mr Mark Abbott who joined the CCF unit in September 2009, taking up the position of 2nd Lieutenant.  Since joing the unit 2nd Lieutenant Abbott has attended all the activities put on by the unit, recently attending the 'Bega Banga' competiton at St Bee's School Cumbria.  Where the cadets were successful in yet again winning both the 'Tug of War' and the overall competition.
