Dear Mr Kennedy,

As you may be aware, I was in command of a 13 strong detachment of St Mary's cadets at the "Bega Banga" competion held at St Bee's school over the weekend.

The cadets were a credit to your school and to themselves.  I received positive comments from several senior officers regarding their turnout, conduct and enthusiasm: the school should be very proud of them.

I am also happy to report that the team won the tug of war and the overall competition. This was the first time the title had been retained by the defending champions!

I would be obliged if a reference/report on the success could be placed on the web site.
