Adventure Training-Capel Curig, Snowdonia.

On Saturday 2nd April 2011 a group of 32 cadets attended at Capel Curig, Snowdonia to undertake five days of Adventure Training. The expedition was led by Lieutenant Colonel Rothnie supported by members of staff from the CCF, WO2 Craig Mountford 27 CTT, ’Real Adventure’ and volunteers Michelle Overend and Samantha Herriott.
The cadets had a full programme of activities, which involved rock climbing, gorge walking, canoeing and fell walking over the four day period. Whilst the weather was wet on occasion all those involved had an excellent time. In their down time they made contacts with other schools at the camp and were taken to the pictures to see “Hop”.
Our thanks to all those who took part as they made it a very enjoyable time
