On a gorgeous sunny winter day at West Lancs Golf course, St. Mary's Junior Golf Team progressed to the next round of the County Cup with a 2 - 1 matchplay victory. Captain James Rooney started the ball rolling with an emphatic 5 and 4 victory. Andrew Knight was narrowly beaten but Lucinda Burdett won the all important final match3 and 2 to give St. Mary's the overall victory.
