SMC gain upper hand in QEGS Blackburn fixture
St. Mary's won three out of the four fixtures against QEGS Blackburn this weekend in another exciting fixture.
The under 12s won 40-5 to continue their unbeaten start to the season. The under 13s won 60-10 where Jamie Essex scored a hat-trick and the under 14s won on the road 40-5.
Perhaps the game of the week, however, was the 29-19 loss by the Under 15s. In a tough match, neither team were ever more than a try ahead until the last five minutes when QEGS Blackburn scored the final try of the game to run out eventual and deserved winners by 10 points.
Please see boys results page for the season so far.
Next week all of the teams face Rydal School, Colwyn Bay. The under 12s and senior XVs are at home and the Under 13s, 14s and 15s are away.
