Hogarth Hat-trick leads the way and the rest of the week's sporting action

St. Mary's Under 15 team progressed to the 4th round of the Daily Mail Vase with a comfortable victory over William Hulme Grammar School.

Tries came from Reece Hogarth (3), Tom Owens and Ben Blackburn (2 each) and one from Ben Sloan. with Paddy McKenna, Tom Owens and Ben Blackburn two, adding the conversions.

This was a great effort and although all the tries came from the backs, the forward effort set-up the opportunities through strong running from Ben Wallington, Matthew Lea and Lawrence Gillam. The back-row of Skipper Chris Clarke, Andreas Christophorou and Ryan Hodge were once again outstanding.
