The senior cross country team won the first event of the Sefton Schools tournament with a combined total of 37 points.

Patrick Power (7th), Mark McLaughlin (8th), Ben Mossman (10th) and Charlie Newell (12th) enabled St. Mary's A to win by six points. In the twelve team event, St. Mary's B team consisting of James Taylor 13th, Daniel Frost 15th, Alex Norman Jones came 27th and Reece Hogarth 28th ensured the B team came fifth. There were 61 runners in total.

Elsewhere the year 8/9 team came 12th out of 25 with George Newell 10th, Scott Snaylam 55th, Tom Purcell 67th and Conor Deaver in 78th in the 123 man event. Unfortuantely, due to exams no year 9 pupils took part.

The year 7 A team came 5th with the B team in 16th in the 18 team event. Matthew Tobin 6th, Luke Gordon 9th, Sam Mulholland 29th and Max Davies 35th were the A team runners. Zack Adekoya 48th, Adam Killen 49th, George Seddon-Roberts 66th and sgjh Cracknell 73rd were all members of the B team in this 87 man event.
