The department has strong links with departments of theology at major universities in this country in particular the University of Oxford and offers expertise and ongoing research. The majority of pupils from the college that successfully obtained a place at either Oxford or Cambridge University in recent years studied Religious Studies at A-Level! In addition Religious Studies in the sixth form can be the gateway to many university courses, including Medicine, Law, Journalism, the Armed Services, Teaching, Government and Management, to name a few.
